Home2 Suites in West Valley City is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional customer service to our guests as well as excellent communication with our team and management. You will assist guests with inquiries, problems and complaints. You will be responsible for receiving guests’ payments and for balancing cash at end of shift. You will be familiar with the hotel layout, be up to date with different tariffs and special offers, understand the in-house restaurant's operation to facilitate guests' dining reservations and to make recommendations, and be proficient with operating the switchboard. You will ensure keys are handed back on guests' departure.
To ensure success you will be professional and pleasant in challenging situations, and take responsibility for satisfaction of guests from arrival to departure. Preferred candidates will be positive, pro-active and be skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service attitude
- High School diploma; additional qualifications will be a plus
- Must be able to work a variety of day, evening, and weekend shifts (no overnight shifts required)
- Experience with reservation software a plus
- One year of front desk or relevant experience preferred but willing to train the right applicant
- OnQ experience preferred
Looking to fill 7:00am-3:00pm shift and/or 3:00pm-11:00pm shift for a total of 4-5 shifts a week, weekends required.
