Right Path Recovery is a substance abuse treatment center that provides inpatient and outpatient services.
We are looking to fill the BHT position as soon as possible. Work is performed under the supervision of the Lead Tech / BHT Supervisor. They are responsible for assisting with the monitoring and maintaining the condition of the facility and facility vehicle’s and all client activities in a safe and orderly manner; and reporting any identified facility or vehicle deficits to the Lead Tech and / or BHT Supervisor. The BHT is responsible for assisting with overseeing clients with their daily schedules within the facilities policies and procedures and in accordance with Program Rules and the standards of the State and Federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist Lead Tech, and BHT Supervisor with the supervision of clients in their daily activities.
2. Ensure the clients follow treatment schedule.
3. Transport clients to and from medical and other appointments or other critical needs as they arise.
4. Transport clients to and from treatment, shopping, meetings and appointments as needed.
5. Make continuous rounds.
6. Redirecting and reporting clients if rules are broken.
7. Responsible for understanding and enforcing Program Rules at all levels of care.
8. General maintenance duties as assigned by Lead Tech or BHT Supervisor.
9. Promotes a favorable/positive work atmosphere.
10. Maintains flexibility and adaptability to expected and unexpected changes in the work environment.
11. Reports personal symptoms of suspected illness of contagious diseases to the Clinical Director.
12. Reports incidents, accidents, and occurrences in accordance with policies and procedures.
13. Maintains safety of the physical environment.
14. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
15. Independently solve problems and follow through.
16. Organize and function independently in an office environment.
17. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of five (5) years driving experience and
· At least six (6) months of experience in the field of chemical dependency/substance abuse/psychiatric setting or human services field.
· Ability to work as a team member and have management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs.
· Ability to multitask.
· Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal & Written Communication Skills.
· Knowledge of 12-Step Programs (addiction and recovery)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
