Requirements
The Automotive Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) must be A TEAM LEADER that can recruit, train motivate, and hire a team of highly productive sales reps.
- Must have background in car sales, 2 years or more, knows how to close, hire, coach and counsel those appointed below them.
-They need to possess strong leadership and communication traits, as well as maintain a positive approach to their job.
-They should be passionate about customer service, product knowledge and they should understand basic technology with great computer skills.
-Math and analytical skills are also required because assistant sales managers hold jobs that revolve around numbers.
- On top of those things, they must be professional, courteous, resilient and patient. The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and will have two or more years in an automotive dealership with sales experience.
- In addition, he or she has strong business acumen and sales aptitude, is self-directed by nature, has exceptional interpersonal, and is willing to accept full accountability for sales targets.
-Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age of older
- Previous sales experience is a plus (any industry)
- Neat, Clean, and Professional Appearance
- Pleasant/Friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
