Responsibilities
As a manager for Turner Massage Clinics, you’re responsible for the successful operations of your clinic location.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and managing daily operations of the franchised location, ensuring that excellent service is consistently delivered to members and guests.
- Assisting owners in setting and achieving membership and retail sales and profitability goals and partnering with owners to regularly monitor progress against goals.
- Managing staff and training, monitoring, and coaching the performance of sales associates, therapists and estheticians.
- Establishing and monitoring staff work schedules and managing human resource functions, where assigned, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluation, conducting staff meetings, resolving concerns and disputes, payroll processing, disciplining and terminating employees as well as all associated recordkeeping.
- Managing key business operations including inventory, bank deposits, marketing, etc.
Maintaining a professional, clean, and safe environment for employees, members and guests, and developing a culture in the franchised location that embraces and reflects the Massage Envy brand’s core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy.
Requirements
· Requirements of your position will vary daily, weekly and monthly. This is meant to set the general standards and through regular communication between you and owners, you will set more specific requirements based on your specific clinic needs.
· On call position
· Adequate open availability of clinic operating hours. Weekday and weekend availability
· 3 years of experience in a fast-paced retail, customer service or management position
· Visual merchandising experience preferred, but not required
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Time management and organization skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Attention to detail
· Flexible schedule with evening/weekend availability is a must to meet retail scheduling demands
· Consistent and reliable transportation
· Must be 18 years or older
Employee Retention & Scheduling
- Recruiting and maintaining staffing is critical to the success of our business. You are required to regularly interview for Front Desk Staff in order to maintain your team. You are also required to train your Sales Trainer and Assistant Manager on the interviewing, hiring and training process in order to prepare them to take over in your absence and to be a support in the training process.
- Your Sales Trainer and Assistant Manager staff are meant to be a support role for your clinic. It is required that you delegate appropriately to them and train them on daily operations so that they can act as the manager in your absence.
- You are required to adhere to the scheduling guidelines set forth by the owners. You will be given specific shift allotments as well as payroll budget guidelines that you must follow. Any changes to the shifts or payroll budget must be approved by the owners.
- Be aware of and comply with all labor and employment laws applicable to employees at the franchised location including local and state licensing laws and regulations related to general business operations and licensure of massage therapists and estheticians. Directors/Owners are available to help you where needed.
Performance
· You will be given monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
· You are expected to keep your employees motivated to work towards the goals. When goals aren’t met, your input on why and necessary changes to meet goals will be requested.
· Your schedule and engagement are expected to be a positive impact on your clinic.
Clinic
· As the clinic manager, all daily operations of your individual clinic are your responsibility. This includes cleanliness of the location, maintenance concerns, inventory, uniform requirements, etc. It is expected that you will openly communicate any problems that may occur in these areas that require a higher level of attention.
It is expected that you will work within all of these parameters in order to build a successful culture within your individual clinic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
