The Assistant General Manager has the responsibility for directing the daily operations of a fast casual restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers and other duties as required. The person applying for this position must have excellent communication skills. management experience is a must.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
- Receives direction and reports from Operator/General Manager/ Director of Operation
- Exercises direct supervision of 3+ managers and 20-50 employees
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential duties may include, but are not limited to the following;
- Strive to enhance our guest experiences at every opportunity by satisfying and exceeding their expectations.
- Increase sales and profit by building community relationships/partnerships and providing outstanding product and service.
- Ensure an effective work schedule is posted each week.
- Demonstrate effective interviewing skills for hiring only top performers.
- Responsible for all levels of staffing and new hire orientations.
- Ensure all training and certification processes are in place and 100% compliant.
- Execute action plans using systems, training, operation manuals and all other available resources.
- Assist Marketing Coordinator in the execution of marketing plans.
- Continually mentor AM’s & CZT in the operation of a Zaxby’s unit and prepare them for the future advancement.
- Review daily numbers each day of work and coach and praise their results.
- Provide leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitment toward company objectives.
- Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Leadership program completion
- Online ZU Trainer test passed with 90% or better
- Online ZU AM test passed with 90% or better
- Online ZU GM completion
- Phase 3 class in Athens (3 days)
PAY:
- $45,000 - $55,000, Profit Sharing and learning key skills to help move to the next level.
