As a representative for our company, you will be responsible for assisting with troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned facilities, with an emphasis on electrical maintenance and repairs.
Essential Functions
- As a Lead Maintenance Technician for our company, you will be responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager administrative duties and responsibilities; to include project management, scheduling, placing orders, pick up and driving company vehicle to/from work-sites. To also include skills with troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned facilities, with an emphasis on plumbing, HVAC and electrical maintenance and repairs. This is a working technician position.
- Manage supplies, inventory, place orders as necessary to fill client needs.
- Ensures the inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment is adequate to meet current and foreseeable requirements.
- In cooperation with senior leadership and EHS, develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately.
- In cooperation with senior leadership, assist with office layout planning and office moves, and with managing and maintaining IT infrastructure.
- Manage office budget as it pertains to operational support of site.
- Manage internal SLA’s and SOW’s to ensure Facilities Services are consistent with requirements. Report on key operational performance standards and determine whether services are being delivered at or near optimum levels. Support all aspects of onsite asset management via the CMMS systems including managing all work orders and ensure timely closure.
- In cooperation with senior leadership, identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems. Develop efficient processes, as part of an overall Facilities strategy, to achieve optimum standards; recommend process and technological enhancements to improve service and efficiencies. Provide other administrative support for local office teams to include scheduling group meetings, doing research, creating reports, maintain meeting agendas or minutes, and coordination of activities for office including conference room support, meeting and events support.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the company.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company and ensure cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery with performance measures.
- Working with others throughout the office, develop a positive, supportive environment, consistent with Flagship’s and/or client values.
- Working with EHS, act as the safety point of contact for corporate site to include ensuring compliance of all Flagship safety policies, scheduling of required safety or first aid training, and ensuring safety systems and equipment is maintained and working properly.
- Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data, and analysis.
- Supervise, train and lead a team of maintenance technicians and other outside personnel for support of corporate site.
- Perform minor HVAC repairs, PM’s and maintenance.
- Conducts regular inspections as necessary to ensure facility quality standards are maintained.
- Maintains the operating condition and security of all equipment owned, leased, or rented by the company and under his/her control.
- Review’s labor and material charges upon completion of any work performed prior to submission to accounts payable.
- Any other related duty as directed by the manager.
Knowledge and Skills
- Must have exceptional attention to detail.
- Must be able to reading and understand blueprints.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.
- Must be a self-starter and driven.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to adjust to a fluctuating operations volume, and the pressures of a time sensitive delivery schedule.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is desired but not required.
- 2-5 years of progressive work experience in an administrative/office management role.
- FMP or CFM Certification is desired but not required.

Fast paced office environment.
High sense of urgency
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments, and shop environments.
Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.

Physical requirements include stooping, standing, climbing and occasional lifting of a minimum of 40 lbs. of office and facilities equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
