A day in the life:
- Meet regularly with Shipping Supervisor to discuss associate performance, conflict situations, and ways to constantly improve processes.
- Train the PM team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short-and long-term performance goals.
- Maintaining inventory of all shipping materials, as well as keeping all shipping stations stocked with necessary materials.
- Oversees the picking and packing of customer orders, and resolving any orders that require further assistance.
- Training new hires daily, ensuring a positive first day experience and setting up new hires for success.
- This role works in a warehouse environment.
- This role requires frequent walking and standing for entirety of shift.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven group leadership experience, 1-2 years.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices preferred.
- Ability to work within a team and work on your own with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in an ever-changing, dynamic environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Passion for continuous improvement, with a learning mentality.
Good to know:
- Pay is biweekly; every other Friday.
- Wear what you feel comfortable in, closed toe closed heel shoes are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
