Purpose:
Our Senior Business Analyst is a seasoned professional with a track record of success in a fast-paced environment including influencing people, safety performance, managing change, cost and revenue improvements and applying accounting/budgeting principles appropriately. This position supports our three Equipment Manufacturing/Sales product lines (Compressors/RSR, Americool and Tioga) and our Indianapolis Fabrication Shop that has both internal cap ex activities and 3rd party Custom Projects. Our Senior Analyst will report into our Corporate Controller with dotted line responsibilities to our Vice President of Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as a business partner to the Equipment Sales and Manufacturing staff and the Indy Fab Shop to:
- Monitor inventory levels to support uninterrupted manufacturing
- Ensure equipment sales are properly accounted and receivables are collected
- Manage the accuracy of BOM’s and cost standards
- Analyze and communicate periodic budget variances
- Assist Controller, VP Finance, and CFO with special projects & support for Compressors/RSR, Americool, Tioga and Indy Fab Shop reporting, financial analysis & budgeting/forecasting.
- Drive annual budget, Aggreko Mar/Jun/Aug FYF rebudgeting, & monthly flash processes.
- Provide support/suggestions to facilitate business initiatives.
- Participate in month end close activities
- Coordinate preparation and presentation of the CCSP Monthly Operating Review document.
- Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review and evaluate subsidiary journals and reconcile to general ledger accounts
- Perform monthly analyses of product line/cost center profit and loss statements.
- Coordinate inventory procedures with manufacturing locations and reconcile inventory and COGS accounts
- Trains, develops, and manages team to successfully perform assigned functions.
- Assist with External & Internal audit work including preparation of audit schedules and assisting auditors as required during Interim and Final fieldwork time periods.
- Provides financial analysis, supports pricing decisions and contract negotiations
- Review customer contracts requiring corporate approval.
- Process capital expenditure requests along with capital planning. Maintain fixed asset and CIP as it relates to capital expenditures for Indy Refurbishment. Track inventory items and properly transfer items being put in service in the rental fleet.
- Perform data analysis to assist with business decisions.
- Review sales/margin and EBITDA results for the Equipment Sales. Check for high/low margin items & review with appropriate managers. Review invoices/contracts for proper revenue recognition.
- Ensure processes are followed & proper individuals have a solid understanding of system drivers, to produce accurate financial data.
- Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with 7+ years of accounting/analyst experience.
- CPA or MBA (preferred)
- Knowledge of standard cost accounting, inventory management, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, and capital investment evaluation
- Knowledge of standard cost accounting and inventory management processes
- Strong PC skills (Office 365, Infor preferred)
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities; problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities
