The Digital Content Manager plays a significant role in conceptualizing, creating, executing and delivering a strategic and measurable communications program that enhances the visibility of the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
The incumbent's responsibilities include functioning as the daily liaison between the school and its web vendor, drafting content for the web and social media, and managing the school’s e-newsletter. Ability to define strategic goals, develop and implement plans for the school's digital presence, including current knowledge of best practices for the web and social media (tools, trends, monitoring, and analysis) is required.

Qualifications

Three to five years experience in communications. (Preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in developing and defining strategic goals for digital and traditional communications exposure. (Required)
- Experience in meeting tight deadlines and providing project deliverables on-time, without loss of excellent writing using correct grammar and syntax. (Required)
- Demonstrated experience in working independently and efficiently in a fast-past, deadline-driven environment with competing priorities and frequent interruptions. (Required)
- Demonstrated exceptional English writing skills, including demonstrated experience in writing online and traditional communications that are creative and results-focused. (Required)

Demonstrated proficiency with Drupal or any Content Management Systems. (Required)

Knowledge and familiarity with the fields of public health. (Preferred)

Demonstrated, extensive knowledge of best practices for the web, social media tools, current and projected trends to monitor and analyze for effective results. (Required)

Demonstrated analytical skill to review information, the situation at hand, and problem-solve, arriving at solutions, with projected outcomes. (Required)
