Overview:
Mr. Appliance of West Loop is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the scheduling and dispatching of technicians, manage office staff, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate all aspects of daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

Scheduling and Dispatching: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of technicians to customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support office staff and technicians. Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development.

Customer Service: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained. Handle escalated customer issues and resolve complaints promptly.

Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient use of materials.

Financial Oversight: Assist in budgeting and financial management. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.

Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the appliance repair or service industry.

Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, and outstanding customer service skills.

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using office software and tools, including scheduling and CRM systems.
