Job Summary:
Join our team as a Service Manager where you will oversee the efficient operation of our service department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing service technicians, ensuring high-quality roof maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Accurately estimate leads and develop proposals with photo reports
· Follow up with clients to secure sales
· Maintain organized documentation, manage purchase orders
· Review and approve all orders and estimates
· Track job costs, manage subcontractor invoices
· Must exhibit leadership and management skills necessary to meet production goals.
· Ability to juggle schedules, including anticipating weather and its effects, details and outcomes
· Analyze and maintain material inventory necessary to operate efficiently and effectively.
· Manage and maintain good relations with your service crews and further their personal growth.
· Monitor quality of workmanship of repairs and maintenance performed in the field.
· Perform random quality control follow up site visits after services have been performed.
· Review service tickets and submit to accounting for billings.
Scheduling and Customer Communication:
· Promptly book appointments and coordinate work orders
· Confirm dates with clients
· Provide timely updates via phone, and email
Skills, Abilities, Experience:
· 5 years’ experience leading commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM etc.)
· Strong project management skills, including ability to manage safety, quality, schedule, cost and communication.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills, including writing and analyzing reports and giving presentations.
· Excellent time and task management
· Proven problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
· Superior customer service skills
· Excellent computer skills, including MS-Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office.
Requirements:
- Driver License in good standing.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
