Foster Web Marketing, an agency with over 25 years of experience building consistently cutting-edge websites providing boutique marketing services with a proprietary software solution, wants to expand its sales team. We are looking for the one…is it you? We seek excellence in a trailblazer to join our team and lead the charge in generating, vetting, and onboarding our perfect avatar clients. As the first member of this team, you will work with, be mentored by, and report directly to our founder & owner, Tom Foster, and play a pivotal role in building a successful sales strategy from the ground up.
The duties for this pivotal position will encompass but are not confined to delivering dynamic sales presentations to prospective clients, conducting demonstrations of our proprietary software product, seeking out, attending, and representing our company at industry conferences, negotiating web builds and service agreements with potential clients, and serving as a schedule setter and supportive member of our sales and marketing team.
We'll provide you with comprehensive on-the-job training to succeed in this role. While prior experience in a web agency sales role is beneficial, it's not a requirement. We're seeking an assertive salesperson who is driven to meet and surpass goals.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Generating leads by attending conferences, cold-calling, calling warm leads, and going door-to-door to complement our marketing efforts.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals set by the executive management team.
- Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Giving sales and software presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understanding and promoting company programs.
- Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients when required.
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
- Maintaining client records.
- Answering prospects' questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
Sales Representative Requirements:
- Proven sales track record, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both clients and the team.
- Experience with Gsuite products for a variety of tasks.
- Have an attractive personality and empathy towards others.
- Comfortable and poised on stage, on camera, and on video.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Some domestic travel is required.
- Must reside in the USA.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Some knowledge of digital marketing and navigating websites from a consumer perspective.
