Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating and nurturing young children during their crucial developmental years. Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as math, literacy, physical education, and social skills
- Provide a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Conduct assessments to track each child's progress and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate activities and events
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and student performance
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Skills:
- Strong educational background in early childhood development or a related field
- Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of special education techniques and strategies for supporting children with diverse needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials
