We are a healthcare company in the Salt Lake City area looking for an organized, compassionate, and knowledgeable Director of Nursing to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, and directs the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Manages the health care of all residents, including coordinating care with other resident services
- Supervise staff who have been delegated and/or assigned nursing tasks
- Educates and trains staff, develops on-going training materials for care staff and focuses on team development and appropriate delegation of tasks within the department
- Review of all incident reports and follow up as necessary
- Assists residents with their daily medications, treatments and resident care as assigned and within the scope of practice, policy and procedures and state regulations
- Attends stand-up meetings, reporting any issues or concerns to Administration
- Participate in surveys and inspections by government agencies
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Minimum associate degree. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- At least one year of nursing leadership experience in a geriatric healthcare facility
- Must speak and understand English
- Has the desire to work with the geriatric population
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
