Rowan’s Business Systems Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and business operations by using data
analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives
and stakeholders. The Business Systems Analyst will have a deep understanding of business processes, excellent analytical
skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Cross functional business Requirements Gathering:

Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

Document and communicate the results of efforts.
System Analysis:

Analyze business processes, systems, and related data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Evaluate current business processes and recommend innovative solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
Project Management:

Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions.

Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Data Analysis and Reporting:

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to support business operations.

Utilize data analysis tools to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
Quality Assurance:

Develop and execute test plans to ensure that system changes are properly implemented and functioning as intended.

Identify and resolve system issues.
Stakeholder Communication:

Act as a liaison between business units and technology teams.

Provide training, technical SOPs, and support to end-users in accordance with business practices.

Communicate project status and critical issues with management team.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

1-4 years of experience in business systems analysis or a related field preferably in the retail space.

Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Domo).

Strong understanding of business process modeling, data modeling, relational databases, and system analysis techniques.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and practices.
- The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $85,000-90,000.
