We are a busy Concierge Medical Practice seeking a Front Office Coordinator/Medical Assistant to join our team. We are a small, close-knit office looking for someone who shares our value of exceptional patient care.
Position Summary: This is a hybrid role that consists of front office and Medical Assistant responsibilities. Assists with scheduling appointments, answering phones, preparing documents, patient examinations and treatments, performs various tests, assists with maintaining medical equipment and supplies, and performs laboratory tests when needed.
Responsibilities include:

· Ensuring front office runs smoothly
· Assist with patient triage/treatments
· Performs various testing including ECG, Audiometry, Ear lavage, laboratory tests, and many more.
Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: MA or LPN certificate or applicable license required or at least one year of clinical experience in a primary care physician office required. Phlebotomist certificate and or Limited Scope certificate desirable.
B. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or LPN accredited program or sufficient previous outpatient clinical work experience.
C. Experience: One year of previous medical assistant-type experience preferred.
D. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of computers preferred. Demonstrates good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Laboratory testing in compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and CLIA standards. Displays appropriate judgement and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers. Demonstrates excellent and appropriate oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of First Aid. The Medical Assistant must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the patient’s life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the information needed to identify requirements relative to the patient’s age-specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the unit/area/department’s policies and procedures.
III. Degree of Supervision Required: Performs essential functions without constant supervision. Practice Manager provides general direction, assigns projects and evaluates performance.
