Job Summary:
Care Dental is seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist/ Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have setting and possess strong administrative and customer service skills. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing patient appointments, maintaining patient records, and providing exceptional customer service. 2+ years in general dentistry and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Open Dental.
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries.
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Respond promptly to customers’ needs by discussing treatment options and preparing financial arrangements with patients.
- Effectively communicate to sell and close financial presentations
- Coordinate with dental hygienists, assistants, and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist/ Treatment coordinating is required. this is not an entry level position.
- Proficient in using dental practice management systems (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, etc.)
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Spanish is a must
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
