The Validation and Support member role at Observa is the cornerstone of Observa’s delivery team. You will work directly with our app users and validation team. Your primary responsibilities are to ensure that all of the data we collect is both accurate and usable for our customers by validating the submissions and responding to support tickets from the Observa crowd of app users.
Success in this role is dependent on reliability, attention to detail, patience, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Support app users via email ticketing system
- Research and answer user questions, resolve user issues
- Spotting patterns and trends in user activity, and report your findings to the operations team in shift reports
- Act as the initial point of contact with observers to troubleshoot questions and know when to escalate
- Ability to prioritize and flex to meet changing needs
- Review app user submissions for accuracy and quality
Requirements
- The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and has a knack for noticing patterns.
- Strong writing skills to accurately & professionally communicate with observers.
- Experience with any ticketing system (such as Zendesk) preferred but not required.
- Coachability – understands our team is here to make us better, and that feedback should be both received and given.
- Capable of working effectively & productively remote (reliable internet connection, hardware, etc)
- Familiarity with technology to troubleshoot common tech issues
- Be able to perform repetitive tasks successfully and maintain high quality throughout
- Familiar with G Suite and Microsoft 365 (preferred but not required)
