The Opportunity
As the Receiving Associate you will assist with the efficient processing, verification, and distribution of received merchandise shipments. The Receiving Associate will abide by company procedures and overall business practices of the Back of House (BOH). With direction from the Assistant Store Manager of Operations and Receiving Lead, the Receiving Associate will perform duties in the BOH related to the receipt and processing of merchandise, stocking, and organizing merchandise per company procedures. You will also assist in maintaining and creating an appealing sales floor presentation. You will assist with efficiently processing, verifying, and distributing received merchandise shipments. With direction from the Store Leadership, you will perform duties in the BOH related to the receipt and processing of merchandise, stocking, and organizing merchandise per company procedures.

Your Impact
- You will support the integrity of the store inventory through the proper execution of our inventory management policies.
- Assure the quality and condition of new merchandise meet company standards.
- You will ensure our merchandise received matches manifests and inventory transfer reports.
- Perform a variety of operational activities which include processing, ticketing, and assembly of merchandise.
- Work collaboratively together on floor sets and replenishment of inventory to create an extraordinary guest experience.
- Collaborate closely with the receiving lead in the back-of-house and the visual lead on the sales floor to manage inventory efficiently and ensure appealing product presentation during floor sets.
What You Bring
- College degree or equivalent job experience
- 1–2 years of shipping and receiving experience in the specialty retail industry is preferred, but not required
- Experience in visual product setup and floor set execution.
- You will be proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint, Outlook, and POS systems.
- You can lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs.; climb ladders.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
