Ruby Tuesday is looking for a junior recruiter to join our team to support company-wide staffing efforts. This is an entry-level position based in our Maryville, TN office.
This position will primarily focus on supporting management recruitment efforts with the opportunity to work across broader HR Functional areas.

Location: Maryville, TN
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Operations Leaders and recruiting team on recruiting initiatives.
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
- Schedule and conduct prescreening interviews.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Prepare regular updates to Operations Leaders/Recruiting Team with candidate tracking updates and determine effectiveness of recruiting plans.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Develop and maintain pool of qualified candidates.
- Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
- Utilize the Internet for recruitment
- Post positions to appropriate Internet sources
- Research new recruiting strategies
- Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates
- Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
- Manage the use of external recruiters and headhunters.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees, coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives, administrative duties and record keeping.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
- Hospitality experience preferred.
