Looking for an energetic positive Sous Chef to join our offsite catering and Southern Fare team. Job Requirements and Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting the Chef in leading a team to deliver high-quality, great-tasting food; proper food safety and sanitation procedures and profitability. Supports the Chef to ensure menu items are executed with excellence in the restaurant. Proven success as a Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high- volume upscale restaurant or high-end resort restaurant Strong passion for culinary excellence Proven ability to develop team Knowledge of systems, methods, and processes that contribute to great execution Stable job history which demonstrates upward career progression One location Job Duties: Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Responsibilities will be split between Southern Fare restaurant tasks and offsite catering. This position will act as a lead cook for offsite catering.
