American Ultraviolet West is looking to hire an experienced Electrical Technician. This position's requires the ability to assemble systems, products, and subassemblies using common hand and power tools and measurement equipment. Build equipment to assembly procedures, engineering drawings, electrical schematics and verbal instructions. Understands electrical principles and has experience working with high voltage systems.
- · Performs routine and complex assembly tasks building systems, products, and assemblies with no supervision.
- · Ability to work across all departments within manufacturing as determined by the production schedule
- · Sets up and tests finished systems electrically to company established test protocols.
- · Works to meet customer requested ship dates.
- · Builds product from assembly instruction, drawings and schematics, engineering sketches and verbal instructions.
- · Recognizes defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes or faulty workmanship and works independently to perform necessary corrective actions.
- · Complies with acceptable quality standards using appropriate manufacturing practices and methods.
- · Conducts complex electrical operational tests and troubleshooting on finished products and subassemblies. Includes high voltage applications
- · Selects and uses appropriate hand/power tools and measurement equipment required for the task.
- · Processes appropriate paperwork, such as work order sheets, time sheets, and test data sheets, in a timely manner.
- · Adheres to the companies safety standards.
- Ability to develop electrical schematics and produce finished document utilizing appropriate software
