We are an equipment leasing company focused on the acquisition and leasing of equipment in the transportation industry. The Controller oversees cash management, equipment financing, cash flow, balances sheets and P&L’s. The role collaborates with multiple departments.
We’re experiencing tremendous growth; and looking to expand this department, to better serve our internal and external customers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Oversee all cash management functions including cash position reporting, cash forecasting, fraud prevention / detection, bank account management and monitor cash needs across the organization.
- Oversee all equipment financing functions.
- Monitoring and planning for maturities of promissory notes and leases (including early buyout options) to limit cash impact.
- Ensuring compliance with the Credit Agreement and Indenture
- Recommending the most appropriate financing strategy
- Coordinate and administer bank accounts and services (opening/closing of accounts, changes in services, changes in bank account structures, changes of bank account signers).
- Manage relationships with all banking and financing counterparties.
- Direct annual cash flow and balance sheet budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. Requires collaboration across the company.
- Establish policies and procedures to support the organization.
- Manage company purchasing and credit card programs.
- Coordinate workers compensation claims
- Payroll
- Lead designated workflow improvement efforts and/or other special projects.
- Coordinate internal/external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Job Requirements
- Previous accounting equipment leasing experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in finance/accounting business operations.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Regular scheduled attendance

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Accounting Department. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. For Exempt Managers: Managers that carry out these responsibilities for two or more employees will have significant input in hiring and termination decisions.

Compensation
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
