Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Management: Improve and create processes to better collect and maintain accurate databases containing member personal information and benefits, marketing and enrollment results, and insurance claim information and trends.
- Data Analysis: Leveraging data to enhance organizational processes to maximize efficiency and member engagement. Perform statistical analyses on enrollment results, benefit utilization, financial trends, and customer retention to identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reporting procedures to provide clear, actionable data to all departments, including the executive committee. This will require creativity, as various formats, such as spreadsheets, PDF reports, and visual charts, will be utilized to accommodate each department's needs, ensuring optimal impact and usability.
- Process Improvement Recommendations: Use data-driven insights to provide specific recommendations to the executive committee for enhancing operations, business processes, and data integrity and security.
- Management Communication: Deliver detailed analytical presentations to the executive committee and management, explaining data trends, potential risks, and overall company performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficient in SQL, with a strong statistical analysis and data modeling foundation.
- Experienced in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and complex reports (simplilearn) (Built In).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform in-depth analyses of large datasets (simplilearn).
- Strong communication skills, effectively presenting data insights to non-technical teammates.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and machine learning applications.
- Experience with CRM systems and understanding of data privacy standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
