We seek a motivated and results-oriented Project Manager to join our Retrofit team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, layout, field coordination, and supervision of installation crews for retrofit projects. You will also support the Retrofit Production Manager, salespeople, and installation crew.
Responsibilities:
- Support project teams in delivering design, layout, fabrication, and supervision of installation of retrofit projects.
- Help the project team deliver project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards related to retrofit projects.
- Help coordinate layout and work on HVAC, heating/cooling systems, gas piping, refrigeration lines, and temperature control systems installation.
- Produce physical layout plans to be approved by the production manager and translate them clearly to the installation crew.
- Install when required for revenue outcome or scheduling.
- Provide sheet metal ductwork training to field crews and assist in installation when necessary.
- Work with the installation crew to create daily progress goals.
- Perform site visits, complete reporting, and ensure policies and codes are followed.
- Review project costs and work with the Retrofit Production Manager and salespeople to help create change orders for each project.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction project management and leading crews
- Experience installing HVAC, heating/cooling systems, and temperature control systems
- Strong understanding of building codes and permits
- Able to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. with occasional weights over 100 lbs.
- Must be able to walk, bend, and crawl for on-site duties.
