We’re looking for a Staff Pharmacist to join our PharmScript team within our Pharmacist department. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through routine and emergency drug screening, information, processing and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the facilities. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that standards are maintained, policies carried out and objectives accomplished. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and have established management experience. They will be required to consistently ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer safely. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in various healthcare settings
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications
- Conduct medication therapy management and patient counseling
- Participate in medication utilization management programs
- Monitor patient responses to drug therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide drug information and education to healthcare providers and patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Experience or residency training in critical care, pediatrics, or pain management is preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and sterile compounding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
