Assisting Hands Home Care is a nationwide leading provider of quality personalized in home care catering to seniors and others needing non-medical assistance to remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes. The RN Supervisor will serve as the Healthcare Service Supervisor and have the responsibility for overseeing delivery of all companion and personal care services delivered by our agency.
Primary duties include:
- Performing client assessments
- Developing client Care Plans
- Coordinating client care with client's healthcare team
- Working closely with the owner in assessing the needs of the overall business. This is a combined role of clinical hands on and administrative functions of nursing. Meaning, you need to be hands on in the sense of doing physical assessments, visiting with families, training caregivers AND be responsible for paper compliance in regards to staff and client files, regulatory requirements in delivery of care (best practices), and review progress notes.
This is a part time per diem position which could lead to a full time role once business levels warrant full time.
Experience and Requirements:
- Strong clinical and assessment skill
- Prior supervisory/management experience
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and mentoring skills
- Must be organized, detailed orientated, self motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Prior home care, long term care or case management experience preferred
Qualifications:
- A valid WI RN license in good standing; no disciplinary actions
