The Project Manager, IT Security, Compliance & Architecture is responsible for the coordination and delivery of IT Security, Compliance and Architecture projects. Reporting to the Executive Director of Security, Compliance & Architecture, the incumbent provides extensive, broad-based technical program and project coordination for both regional and global based initiatives.
Hybrid with 2 days in office at Nutley, NJ HQ office
This leader is responsible for effectively delivering business results by championing a culture of accountability and consistent project and program management practices. Primary stakeholders include IT Security and Compliance team members, Infrastructure team members, various IT and Finance teams, as well as managed service providers.
Responsibilities
- Project / Program Management - Achieve desired business outcomes by leading complex cross-functional programs consisting of multiple workstreams.
- Collaboration - Effectively direct workstream leads to deliver and meet program objectives. Demonstrate leadership, partnership, and collaboration; motivate and inspire cross-functional program teams.
- Create Clarity and Solutions - Embrace and clarify murky business problems; lead discovery to define objectives and design programs to achieve them.
- Measurement & Reporting - Define and regularly report on program metrics and measurement.
- Drive Alignment - Ensure all stakeholder parties are appropriately informed and aligned. Surface decision points and mis-alignment; proactively seek out and manage objections and competing perspectives.
- Manage Risk - Continuously monitor project or program risk and issues and ensure appropriate risk communication, escalation, and risk mitigation plans are in place.
- Optimize - Drive continuous improvement; challenge the status quo and proactively identify gaps and opportunities.
- Financial - Assist with documenting and maintaining financial information to support operational budgets of over 20M and project budgets of 5M-10M.
Requirements
o Experience leading teams across multiple time zones and of diverse cultures to drive results for multiple projects across several functional areas.
o Experience in project planning, development, and delivery.
o Experience managing projects in collaboration with external partners such as managed service organizations, technology vendors, and consulting companies.

- Desirable Knowledge and Experience
o Experience with managed services in an onshore/offshore model highly preferred.
o Pharmaceutical experience preferred. Experience with Good Practices (GxP) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for Cloud infrastructure qualification and validation.
- Work Experience and Education
o An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, information science, management information systems, or business administration or a related field or equivalent experience relevant to this position.
o Minimum of 10 years related work experience.
- Information Technology Experience
o 8+ years of overall experience in information technology and 3+ years as a Technical Program Manager.
o 2+ years of experience in technical leadership roles for enterprise-scale application architecture and delivery.
o ITIL Foundation certified with strong understanding of the ITIL framework.
o Strong track record of effective cross-functional team collaboration and execution.
o Innovative, consultative mindset and approach to effectively drive the organization's digital business strategies and transformation.
o Effective leadership skills, including team and consensus building and the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
