Role Summary:
As a critical role to Holstein Parts’ aggressive growth model, the Product Management Support Analyst will focus on data mining and data management for the company’s aftermarket parts. We are a fast-growing business with a small family-owned feel operating in Northwest Florida and are looking for talented people to join our team. This person will assist the Product Manager in implementing objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term category growth.
Responsibilities will include extensive data collection, validation, and communication of discrepancies, changes in design, and data distribution to our global partners. Purchase OE/Competitor samples on new product opportunities to complete product reviews and PIEs collection using industry and competitor metrics. Assist with maintaining company and department trackers to ensure new products continue their development flow. Review and investigate customer inquiries, helping customers identify application parts and/or assisting with potential defects. Understand a multitude of part numbers, OE Part Numbers, supersessions, cross-references, vehicle applications, and product data.
Key Job Responsibilities:
· Perform advanced data analytics based on market research data.
· Daily product line maintenance, including supersessions, catalog & E-commerce maintenance (descriptions, data corrections, etc.).
· Assist in developing strategic sourcing and manufacturing strategies based on global product requirements.
· Maintain the Master Development database with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
· Maintain/update competitive and OE cross-reference data; ensure alignment with pricing and sales teams.
· Support Sales and Marketing Teams with OEM application and competitive interchange information to support current and future sales opportunities.
· Manage the ordering and receipt of OE Competitor and Supply Chain samples.
· Track inventory discrepancies to ensure Supply Chain timely response to maintain approved inventory and maintain company fill rate goals.
· Work with Product Manager and Catalog Manager on customer issues/warranty complaints for the respective product lines, promoting continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
· Meet and exceed KPIs performance goals in support of company success and profitability.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience in data mining, data management, and analytics is essential.
· Excellent research skills, including vehicle applications, OEM reference books, and online technical data.
· Technical mindset for analyzing product technical drawings and blueprints.
· Experience in product databases and digital asset software.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite programs (Gmail, Word/Google Docs, PowerPoint, and Excel/Google Sheets), and Jotform.
· Proven communication skills, both verbal and written; email and business writing are essential.
· Ability to decipher and comprehend copious amounts of product data and be extremely organized.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet critical project deadlines.
· Experienced in working with Supply Chain Partners on communicating discrepancies, measurements, and changes to new and existing product line categories and part numbers.
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field required (preferably Program Management, Engineering, Data Science, or Business Administration) or equivalent related work experience.
