We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist our team of underwriting professionals. The primary responsibility of this role is to service customer accounts.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Set up New and Renewal client records
- Review applications
- Bind New and Renewal policies
- Issue policies as necessary
- Follow up for missing file documentation (loss runs, applications, etc.)
- Issue, Invoice and Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements and non-renewals; or other policy servicing tasks
- Order loss control reports, follow up for compliance of recs
- Compliance with Quality Control guidelines
- Other activities, duties, projects or tasks as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High School or equivalent education
- Experience working in an insurance preferred
- 2-20 license (within 90 days of employment)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Experience in working in a paperless environment – strong PC skills required
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to multi-task
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to effectively work well with others

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
