Scope of Position
This role requires a blend of strong emotional intelligence (EQ), strong generalist capabilities, and confident communication across all levels of the organization. This role will possess strong analytical skills enable them to assess complex data, identify trends, and formulate strategic HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Essential Job Duties

Act as first point of contact for managers and employee needs, for any HR related matters.

Provide day-to-day support to the Director of Human Resources and the broader leadership teams.

Serve as a partner to the business related to any operational requests, projects, and tier I support for employee relations.

Deliver HR and employee communications as directed.

Generate internal offer and status change letters and process changes.

HRIS maintenance, process improvement and expertise.

Support and/or own onboarding processes as needed, including I9 completion and verification, orientation, and welcome emails.

Perform regular electronic filing, organizing and maximization of data storage including personnel file management.

Manage exit survey/interview process and tracking.

Manage term processes for exiting employees.

Regular reporting and data work for internal department and in partnership with other departments.

Unemployment claims/ Employment Verifications.

Supports annual reporting, open enrollment, or other initiatives of the HR department.

HR projects as assigned.

Maintain compliance with federal and state laws for all employees.

Create and introduce policies or events designed to enhance employee communications, morale, and the overall work environment.

Serves as a backup to other functional areas.

Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration or related field required.

3-5 years of progressive HR generalist experience required.

Experience with employee relations preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of human resources practices, principles, and federal/state/local laws.

Strong MS Excel experience (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).

Strong working knowledge and ability to leverage of MS Office Suite; HRIS (ADP workforce now or similar).

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to adapt in a fast paced, evolving work environment.

Strong team player with ability to focus on multiple projects or efforts.
