The purpose of this position is to support the specific division the individual will work with by overseeing and managing field employees and various projects for multiple clients.
· Responsible for the overall pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases of project.
- Develop and implement the overall construction schedule with entire project team.
- Prepare electronic bid estimates in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by management, based on available information.
· Schedule and conduct project meetings and project closeout process.
- List material and submit purchase orders/requisitions for projects in a timely manner.
- Perform Customer Service duties (questions and/or concerns) to both customers and employees throughout the project to ensure successful completion.
- Determine, schedule, and manage field employee levels to meet project needs.
- Manage all project paperwork from start to finish.
- Submit change orders for project adjustments in a timely manner.
- Submit billing to customer/contractor in a timely manner.
- Perform site inspections of various facilities.
- Assist other divisions to complete projects as needed.
- Assist at the job site as needed.
- Maintain all applicable certifications and licenses as governed by federal, state, and local laws.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical school program certificate; or 5-7 years of related training and/or experience; or a combination of both education and experience.
- Familiarity with various computer programs, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite and I-Square-Foot Plan & Take Off.
- Ability to calculate surface area and volume of various object, understand and apply basic algebra and general mathematics concepts, understand and apply concepts of basic geometry.
- Asbestos removal Certification
- Project Supervisors and Inspectors Certification
- Lead removal Certification
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
