Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Implement and manage inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure products are stored correctly to maximize space and comply with safety regulations.
- Implement and oversee warehouse organization and layout.
- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff.
- Plan and assign work schedules and duties.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies for timely deliveries.
- Manage the loading and unloading of goods.
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Identify areas for process improvement within warehouse operations.
- Implement best practices and new technologies.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a warehouse manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management software and databases.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
