Niemann's American Flooring is in search of a qualified individual with a minimum of 2 years of Payroll/Accounting/ Bookkeeping experience. An ideal candidate would have 5 years of bookkeeping and office experience in a retail environment. The candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles. The candidate must be able to work with accuracy and attention to detail and work independently. Duties include but are not limited to general bookkeeping, pricing and inventory input, utilizing and building out current software to its full potential, managing multiple companies and our B2B product file. Our ideal candidate will also be familiar with the items below:
- Complete Payroll Process, including payments to Federal and State Governments along with quarterly filings, generation of yearly W2 and 1099 forms
- Accounts Receivable, Customer Payments, Collections, Claims, Job Costing
- Accounts Payable, Costing of AP Invoices, Bill Payments, Credit Card Reconciliations
- General Ledger Functions, Preparation of Financial Statements-Analyze & Balance all accounts
- Monthly Sales Tax
- QuickBooks
- Management of Inventory
- Customer Service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel & Word
