We are seeking an experienced Electrician Foreman, with commercial construction experience, for projects located in the northern part of the DFW metroplex (Lewisville, Prosper, McKinney, Denton)
Requirements:
- Applicant must have or acquire a State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
- Applicant must have 3-5 years of experience on commercial projects (Preference will be given to those with school construction experience).
- Applicant must have required hand tools (list provided upon employment).
- Applicant must demonstrate evidence of previous electrical experience.
- Applicant must be comfortable working in a deadline driven, high stress environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications with in-depth knowledge of the NEC codes.
- Demonstrated track record of successful project leadership with experience managing construction crews.
- Understanding of OSHA Standards and safety requirements.
- Experience in verifying the compliance and functionality of installations.
- Knowledgeable in the identification and repair of faults in electrical apparatus and circuits.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively order and track materials.
- All applicants must sign a release and be able to pass background check which will include a criminal background check and department of motor vehicle check. Applicant must pass a drug screen.

Pay: DOE
All applicants must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead. Lift 51 pounds, 20 times per day. Constantly move about on the feet. Climb ladders of all types. Complete full day assignments involving overhead work. Must be able to make transition from employee parking area or street into construction work areas and to access all levels of the building, even if the only means of access is by O.S.H.A. approved site construction ladder or stairs still under construction, but acceptable for use. Possess good vision, normal or corrected. Must be capable of securing tools and materials from storage areas to complete assigned tasks. Possess good hearing, normal or corrected. Must be able to positively identify different colors of wiring.
Working Conditions:
All applicants may work inside or outside while wearing required personal protective equipment at all times; possible exposure to hot and cold temperatures, weather elements, dust, toxic materials, in restricted or confined spaces, and on slippery or uneven surfaces; works on ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, in ditches and excavations; works in and around single and multi-story buildings with all exposures typical of a heavy construction site, including portable sanitary facilities.
