Description:
The Project Coordinator is part of the Operations Team and is responsible for planning and executing a range of aerospace/defense projects.
Key responsibilities include:

Plan and manage manufacturing build plans, supplier selection, and material procurement

Draft purchase orders in accordance with the procurement plan

Maintain and update job schedules and status

Communicate with key customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure project milestones are met

Coordinate with cross-functional teams in Sales, Engineering, Production and Quality
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with an aptitude and intertest to learn new software and systems

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Detail oriented; Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Positive, professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills

Flexible and adaptable to change, creative problem solver

Able to work independently with little supervision

Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role (we will accept entry-level applicants with strong qualifications)

Engineering, Operations Management, and/or other technical background

Proficiency in Outlook, Excel; knowledge of Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet or comparable software preferred
Work Experience / Education

Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance in Engineering discipline

Experience in position accountable for project coordination & success preferred
