PMCO is hiring a Plant Manager in Northwest Ohio!

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant production operations.
- Enhance production, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
- Manage financial aspects, including budget preparation, the Annual Operating Plan, and capital expenditures.
- Achieve and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for the plant.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental health, and safety standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, such as BOS, Lean, TVM, Kaizen, and VSM.
- Monitor key performance measures and set goals for improvement.
- Develop and optimize facility processes and future capabilities.
- Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
- Create and implement plans for staff performance improvement and training.
- Foster team member development and succession planning.
- Collaborate with customers, engineers, and sales teams.
- Adhere to plant safety, environmental, quality, and productivity standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field required.
- Must have plant turnaround experience
- 5+ years of managerial experience in the automotive industry, including supervisory roles in facilities with close to or more than 300 team members.
- Manufacturing experience, with a strong emphasis on understanding automotive industry practices and manufacturing systems.
- Preferred expertise in metal manufacturing, stamping, welding, and fabrication processes.
- Proficient in Lean Principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experienced in supply chain management and overseeing product launches.
- Skilled in workforce management and succession planning.
- Demonstrated success in improving turnover and retention rates.
- Proficient in implementing compliance and safety standards.
- Proven capability in leading turnarounds and crisis management.
- Knowledgeable in ISO and IATF Quality Management Systems.
- Strong business acumen in capital purchases, project management, and budget planning.
- Familiar with strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and production methods.
- Experience with ERP, SAP, or similar systems
