The Coordinator - Risk Management Compliance is responsible for the facilitation of the company’s Risk Management programs including the Alcohol and Controlled Substances Testing Program, Driver File Compliance Program, Safety Shoe Program, and MVR Compliance Program.

Coordinate Random Drug and Alcohol Testing for assigned locations: This includes but is not limited to receiving
-
the list of selected employees, sending out notices to the supervisors of the selected employees, scheduling on- site testing locations, sending authorization forms to the clinics for off-site testing, and ensuring all testing is completed

Maintain Driver Files (DOT and Non-DOT) for assigned locations: This includes but is not limited to receiving new hire driver files from the employee relations team and uploading them into the online Driver File Management System, sending drivers' license and DOT Medical Card expiration notices, receiving updated documents and uploading them into the Driver File Management System, obtaining DOT Medical Card MVRs and uploading them into the driver file

Process Safety Shoe Reimbursements and Payroll Deductions for assigned locations: This includes but is not limited to receiving safety shoe reimbursement requests, submitting reimbursement requests to Payroll, receiving safety shoe payroll deduction requests, and submitting payroll deduction requests to Payroll

Receive, Review, and Process Safety Shoe Vendor Invoices for assigned locations: This includes but is not limited to receiving invoices from the Safety Shoe Vendors, reviewing the invoices for accuracy, coding the invoices and processing the invoices for payment

Conduct Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Reviews for all driving employees: This includes but is not limited to Requesting Certification of Violation Forms, pulling MVRs from our MVR Service Provider, reviewing a driving employee's full safety history, and providing feedback to the location on the outcome of their MVR Reviews

Use of Information Technology (IT) Systems to perform daily responsibilities: These systems include but are not limited to Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint, License Monitoring Software, Drug/Alcohol Testing Software, Driver File Management Software, Motor Vehicle and Background Screening Software, and Claims Management Software

Provide Routine Reports to the Manager - EHS and the Supervisor - Risk Management Compliance as directed

Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

Minimum age 18 years old

Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies

Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job

Ability to read, write and speak English

Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines

Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets

Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 0 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to multi-task and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Must be able to communicate effectively with everyone, including health care providers, insurance companies, all levels of workers from hourly paid to President and CEO
