The project engineer will be required to assist the project management team in the construction of multiple projects consisting of grading, concrete paving, bridges, retaining walls, and asphalt. Pre-construction responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating the development of all shop drawings and work plans necessary to begin work on a project.

Responsibilities during construction include tracking pay quantities and submitting pay requests to project owners, evaluating project performance against budgets and schedules, identifying changes to the project scopes and pricing change orders, managing subcontractors, and offering technical support to foremen and superintendents. Ideal candidate should have an interest in field operations and being part of some of the most challenging & rewarding projects in the Southeast.
Qualified applicants should possess:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
- Scheduling
- Prior work experience in construction or engineering preferred, but not required.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work variable hours and participate in hands on training.
- A valid driver’s license.
