Job Description:
This is an on the road In-home Appliance Tech with a Premium Service Company. What is a Premium Service Company. We are one that out preforms all the others. We go the extra mile for the customers. We are clean cut, drive nice vehicles, show up on time, we are personal with the customer. This job is half customer service and half Appliance repair. We work on 500-30,000 ranges and 700-18,000 refrigerators. This is a Career opportunity for the chosen candidate. With a career Ceiling of around 110K for the right individual. We have been in business since 2009 in Virginia and have expanded into North Carolina to meet the needs of the residence of coastal NC and the OBX.
In North Carolina we service from Moyock to the OBX and Corolla to Hatteras. Techs leave from their own house each morning in a company vehicle, arriving at there first service call between 8-8:15am. The technicians job is to diagnosis and repair. If the tech does not have the part to repair, they are to order the part, reschedule the customer and collect any payments due. Our trucks carry over 7K in parts to make most repairs. The technician is also responsible for taking notes and filling out invoices/paperwork for their service calls daily. This is done on an app on the company iPhone. You do not report to a shop every morning and there is no handwritten paper work here=) We work 4 day work weeks in the off season with the average day ending between 4:30-5:30. In peak season we work a 5 day work week, the 5th day is treated like a bonus day with higher commissions and the technicians rotate Saturdays. NO Sunday work! No on call !
Pay is a base hourly pay with a weekly service commission incentive.
Pay is Weekly.
The Technicians receive: Vehicle, gas card, cell phone, specialty tools and uniforms. Continuing training is provided monthly or quarterly.
Experience required:
2+ years in the appliance repair field
Work schedule:
We work 4 day work weeks, 10 hour days. rotating Saturdays. Your work either Monday thru Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. In peak season Memorial day thru Labor day. We work a 5 day work week ( 8-10 hour days) were the 5th day is treated as a bonus day with higher commotions. All Saturdays have higher commissions.
Paid Major holidays off:
New Years Day, Easter, Memorial day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
Paid Time off:
Start with 2 weeks of PTO prorated, after your 1st year you will have two weeks PTO. After the second year you gain 10 hours for each additional year . If your time off is not taken you'll get it as a bonus at the end of the year.
