Atlas' Air Quality Group is currently seeking a LDAR Technician for our Greeley, CO location.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Environmental technician performing fieldwork, utilizing gas detector instruments and EPA testing protocols, to accomplish fugitive emission source inspections and LDAR tag ID inventory tasks for compliance with Environmental Regulations.
Qualifications:
- At least 2-year college education preferred but not required.
- Demonstration of high integrity and work ethics.
- Must pass a rigorous background check and drug test.
- Previous LDAR experience or experience working in petrochemical facilities/outdoor industrial environments preferred but not required.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Avg. to strong skill level in excel, word, and PowerPoint (experience needed).
- Critical thinking skills. Able to work through roadblocks, interpret regulations.
- Customer Service Skills (i.e., enjoys helping customers accomplish their goals)
Skills/Abilities:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Flexibility to travel when required.
- Must be self-motivated and dependable
- Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
- Must be able to carry a 30lb backpack for approximately six hours a day.
- Must be able to climb in pipe racks, multiple flights of stairs, and tall ladders to monitor components.
- Must be able to work at heights up to 200 ft.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic mechanical skills/mechanically inclined.
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
- Ability to travel, if so what 25% of the time
Compensation:
$18 - $23 hourly
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
