In the past-year, Nulixir sales have grown ~5x with strong interest from small, mid-size and large CPG companies to partner with Nulixir and incorporate the technology in their products. Nulixir boasts an impressive board of senior executives from companies like Pepsi, Danone, Paine, Schwartz Partners, etc. The company currently has 20+ employees with a stellar executive team who come from various backgrounds.
Position Overview:
Nulixir is looking for a highly qualified and experienced professional Bottling Line Technician. You will be responsible for running and maintaining two bottling lines in a timely and cost-efficient manner as well as continuously identify ways to improve our manufacturing operations as we scale-up over time. Experience in the maintenance of beverage packaging equipment is required.
The ideal candidate is self motivated, detail oriented, quality-focus mindset, has a mechanical background and strong technical and quality control background. In this role, you will directly report to the Bottling Manager.
Responsibilities
- Operations and responsibility of the performance of the line. Ensures that the line is ready to run at the start of the shift and perform shutdown at the of the shift. Ensures that all problems with the line are addressed and/or repaired before leaving the line. Makes physical adjustments and repairs on the run to assure an efficient line operation.
- Detect and troubleshoot malfunctions (mechanical and electrical) of bottling line machines/equipment and problem solve in a timely manner.
- Inspect product and packaging materials throughout the various stages to ensure product is bottled and packaged according to quality standards and specifications.
- Fully trained, knowledgeable, and competent with all bottling line machines & associated tasks including the use of production related documentation, recording of downtime, etc.
- Assume responsibility for and respond to line stoppages.
- Technical expert on the line responsible for training line packaging associates in proper operation, autonomous maintenance, and change-over of machinery.
- Performs minor package change-overs on equipment as required.
- Maintain communication with the Team Lead about maintenance needs when recurring malfunctions related to the equipment and processes.
- Responsible for providing real time feedback to the Manager or Team Lead.
- Actively participates and is engaged in safety initiatives, problem solving, continuous improvement and line efficiencies.
- Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety policies and training.
- Must do visual inspections and complete documentation during the run to insure defect free work.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as well as clean and clearing them of debris and materials.
- Report any major defects to the Manager or Team Lead.
- Perform assigned duties of Line Technician including all tasks related to the bottling line which includes but not limited to; filling, quality inspection, case packing and labeling. Perform all tasks in a responsible manner and in compliance with Company policies and procedures as well as applicable regulatory requirements. Fully and accurately complete all applicable documentation, including full record keeping.
- Keep work area clean at all times.

Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Basic maintenance experience required (2yrs)
- Manufacturing experience preferred (2yrs)
- Technical training recommended
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Prior experience in running and troubleshooting automated equipment.
- Manufacturing/Mechanical background

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
