Company Description
Live for Life is a community-based residential treatment facility serving youth males who require psychiatric, behavioral, and other structured rehabilitative interventions.
Live for Life uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as the foundation for the program.
Functions of the Job
Under the direction of the clinical director, the clinical therapist conducts and oversees the individual, family, group therapy, and psychosocial rehabilitation components of service and delivery, and administrative tasks as described below. Maintenance of ethical and exemplary therapy services and client relations.
Essential Duties
- Conduct individual, family, group therapy, and psychosocial rehabilitation services and provides ethical and exemplary therapy services for in-patient residents.
- Appropriately diagnose mental health-related conditions.
- Complete thorough and effective assessments.
- Complete treatment planning within the required time frame.
- Work closely with the clinical director in the implementation of program goals and resident treatment.
- With the direction of the clinical director, develop and implements clinical program policy as necessary.
- Work closely with residents, families, and case managers to ensure the quality of resident treatment.
- Completes and maintains Medicaid and contract compliance regarding record keeping, such as intake assessments, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, discharge summaries, court reports, and therapy notes.
- Non-clinical administrative duties and tasks. i.e., reports, attending court, child and family team meetings, and administrative duties.
Technical Skills and Prior Experience
- Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience with inpatient and/or mental health care in a residential program setting
- Strong attention to detail and well organized
- Computer proficient
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- DBT experience preferred but not required
- Strong preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English/Spanish; however, this is not a requirement.
Schedule
Full Time, min 40 hours per workweek; evening hours may be required
May require after-hours, weekends, and holidays
Education/Training/Licensing
- Master’s level clinical degree from an accredited school- CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, LCMHC, MFT
Location
Erda, UT
Salary Package
$70,000 - $90,000 yearly salary, plus benefits. DOE
