Reports to: Manufacturing Manager
Cooperates with: Production, Accounting, Shipping, Vendors, Sales
Primary Responsibility: Coordinate production schedules and orders for MIRATECH Houston
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Coordinate with production managers, supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders to prioritize production activities and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor and track production progress, identifying any delays or bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to the production team and other departments in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and production metrics.
- Generate reports and documentation related to production scheduling and performance as needed.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to schedule new orders
- Assist with inventory management and forecasting activities as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in production scheduling, planning, or manufacturing operations preferred.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Good math skills.
- Working knowledge of Syspro ERP software desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
