Senior HRIS Analyst
Job Function
The Workday Analyst role serves as the subject matter expert on Workday able to support required Workday modules. Both highly analytical and front facing, the role provides Workday support to primary stakeholders and the business in general. As a subject matter expert, the Analyst is responsible for troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance and testing of Workday
Working collaboratively, this position will be responsible for a broad range of activities including system configuration, ensuring data integrity, documentation, training, reporting, auditing, troubleshooting, and compliance. This position will support ongoing process improvement activities to bring greater efficiency to the Human Resource function, as well as the entire company. This role is also responsible for performing system enhancements, system maintenance, system testing, and system upgrades.
Responsibilities

Demonstrate expertise and ownership for the configuration, enhancement maintenance and testing of the Workday platform.

Interact with business users to gather and clarify business requirements and translate requirements into system functionality utilizing best practices and making recommendations to ensure optimal system functionality.

Evaluate newly released functionalities and recommend solutions that meet business needs while fitting into overall Human Resource strategies.

Support semi-annual Workday updates/new functionality.

Provide business process and workflow configurations, integration support and troubleshooting Support data uploads into Workday utilizing EIBs.

Provide user support, process mapping/documentation and training, for system enhancements and processing procedures.

Collaborate with functional and technical system stakeholders to streamline processes and promote user adoption.

Offer technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience desired
-
5+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration across the HCM Suite of modules with specific emphasis on the Recruiting or Advanced Compensation modules supporting a global organization.

Proven Workday functional expertise - an awareness of what Workday can and cannot do, familiarity with delivered functionality and reports, and experience performing straightforward administrative tasks in Workday (Undoing tasks, manually advancing tasks, waiving requirements).

Knowledge of Workday security and business process configuration highly preferred.

Be resourceful and have a knack for navigating challenges independently; have strong prioritization skills, communication skills, and good judgment.

Strong sense of personal accountability for high quality, value-driven work that supports business outcomes; uses design thinking principles.

Knowledge of Workday integration and data flow best practices are critical to successful performance in this role.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills demonstrated with a strong on customer service.
