We are Arlington Auto Care a very busy Auto Service Center in Arlington, Va in the Clarendon area. We have 12 bays in a Big Shop with our Car Count you would have plenty of opportunitues to work on cars and make money, We are looking for mainly B and C level Guys that are motivated and ready to make some good money but also grow their current skills.
Position Overview:
As a Lube and Tire Technician at Arlington Auto Care, you will play a vital role in maintaining vehicles and ensuring their safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen attention to detail, and a dedication to providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, tire rotations, and wheel alignments.
- Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, and potential issues, and communicate findings to senior technicians or service advisors.
- Install, balance, and repair tires using specialized tools and equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, following safety guidelines and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining maintenance procedures, and offering recommendations for additional services.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of completed services and recommended maintenance, utilizing digital systems as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and maintain high service quality.
- Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to automotive maintenance and tire services.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a lube and tire technician or in a similar automotive maintenance role is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and tire systems.
- Familiarity with various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using digital tools for recordkeeping.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
