Service Advisor

The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling additional needed service to customers. The Service Advisor is the dealership's first-line customer-relations and service representative.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Vehicle Assessment: Evaluate customer concerns, diagnose issues, and provide accurate service recommendations.
3. Service Coordination: Schedule appointments, communicate with the service team, and ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs.
4. Communication: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles, explaining repairs, and providing cost estimates.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service details, and vehicle history.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive setting preferred.
2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
4. Customer Focus: Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
5. Organization: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
