Low Voltage Junior Project Manager
Qualifications
· High school or equivalent
· We are looking for a low voltage technician who has 5+ years of experience with the installation and servicing of Fiber, Fire, CCTV, Access Control & Security Systems
· Demonstrates thorough understanding of cabling standards, project leadership and ability to delegate, supervise and direct the work of 5+ technicians
· Read and understand blueprints
· Understand all aspects of project planning
· Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, analog/digital test equipment, man lifts, testing devices and ladders
· A Strong Customer Service orientation and a Team-focused approach to achieving successful project and task results
· Must have the ability to follow written and oral assignments and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
· Ability to lift/carry/setup a 50 pound box or ladder
· Utah Burglar Alarm Agent License – and/or qualify for License
· Must be able to work independently under minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment and have excellent problem solving skills
· Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience of which one must have been served as an apprentice or equivalent position
· Must have a valid state Driver’s License with a clean driving record
· Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check, including criminal background check
· Own low voltage tools, snips, cable strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc a plus
Responsibilities
· Responsible for daily tasks as assigned on a project and keeping crew on task to meet goals set by project manager
· Participate in manpower planning
· Assist with material management and labor through job completion
· Supervise projects and work of 5+ technicians as assigned by management
· Perform work within time parameters and ensure compliance with safety and company policies and procedures
· Ensure that technical and quality objectives are met while maintaining excellent customer service and exceeding customer expectations
· Performing startup, installation, closeout and service of jobs; installs, terminates and testing of equipment as per specification and building/electrical codes
· Repair, restore and test of systems per specifications
· Communication with management on delays, requirements and general status of job to ensure delivery of the project
· Complete all work to company standards and quality installation techniques are practiced
· Training apprentices on company procedures, systems and installation techniques
· Outdoor work including occasional adverse weather conditions or cold/heat temperatures may be required
· Travel and occasional overnight/alternative work hours may be required

We are looking for someone who can jump in and complete a project if needed or supervise multiple job sites and assist with quality control and training.
