TITLE: Main Office SecretaryREPORTS TO: PrincipalDay- 7:30 AM- 3:30 PMPRIMARY AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists with daily interaction with students, parents, faculty, and general public. Provides direct assistance to students, faculty, staff, parents and visitors who come to the office, as needed.2. Distribute 504 information to all teachers for each student describing the students accommodations.
Contact parents on a yearly basis regarding any changes to their childs plan.3. Dissemination of correspondence regarding student discipline and attendance matters. Maintains daily record of student infractions and discipline.4. Daily record keeping of student attendance.
Daily report on student attendance. Issues tardy slips and dismissal slips.5. Assist with general clerical duties such as maintenance of office files and equipment, answering phones and taking messages, copying and dissemination of office materials, distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining postage money and supplies.6. Monitor students who have been sent out of class for behavior problems, until an Administrator is available.7.
Responsible for daily maintenance of substitute records and maintains direct contact with CO on absence management issues.8. Other duties as determined by the Principal including cross training in other duties to allow for coverage of other positions as needed.
