JOB SUMMARY
The Process Engineer Technician under the leadership of the Manager, Process Engineering will be responsible for 1) Supporting the implementation and alignment of the GST Production System throughout the VPC and/or PDC. 2) Support the development, documentation, and management of all production processes throughout the VPC and/or PDC. 3) Support the execution of Workshops and Kaizen events, 4) Support Process Engineers with data collection, analysis, and documentation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Reliable, consistent, on-site attendance is required. This position requires you to be punctual and dependable in order to meet the needs of the business.

Develop standards and documentation relating to, but not limited to standard work, processes and procedures, change management, and vehicle flow.

Complete Process Audits and effectively communicate findings to all stakeholders.

Perform Time Study Analysis to validate and maintain installation times.
- Utilize data analytics and statistical analysis to identify opportunities and drive quantitative process improvement projects.

Support the execution of process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma Principles and Tools.

Maintain open lines of communication with line and staff members to monitor and report progress of KPIs.
- Present process improvement opportunities, analysis, observations, and recommendations to the leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma and a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in an applicable role (i.e. production, repair center, quality, or training) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to effectively communicate and interface with diverse audiences is critical.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and explain technical terms related to an accessory or a process.

Demonstrated ability to operate computers proficiently (MS Office-Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and others).

Demonstrate the willingness to seek out and implement improvement initiatives.

Demonstrate the ability to work within a project team and lead without authority.

Demonstrate action planning and coordination skills.

Demonstrate execution of continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools such as SIPOC, VoC, Pareto Charts, Fishbone Diagrams, Visual Management, Etc.
- Ability to use mathematical concepts such as Probability and Statistical Inference.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary.

SAP, Minitab, Tableau, Denodo, Simul8 experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 10% of the time and on a domestic basis).
